Memorial

This page of the web site is dedicated to those noble animals, that have touched my life, over the years.
Their companionship was beyond measure, each with their own, distinct personality.
They will always, be missed.

Anja Von Der Hohen Eiche was my very first import, and my introduction to the sport
of Schutzhund in the early 1980s.
This was one intense animal,
and an outstanding personal protection dog.

Above is Erol Von Der Hohen Eiche when he was seven weeks old.

Erol Von Der Hohen Eiche was three months old when I initially returned from Europe.
Here is Erol, standing for the camera, during the late 1980s.

Heddie Vom Göβlinger Klug was imported in 1992. Her call name was, "Cora",
and she was a princess. Cora passed away July 2002.

Erol, Cora and Anja (from left to right) are sitting for a picture with my wife, Anita.
We had just returned from Germany with Cora and she was nine months old.

Whisky Von Der Hohen Erle, was an intense personal protection dog, with a hard, heavy bite.
Although he lived for personal protection work, his even temper is shown here,
with his friend, Michael. This animal loved children.

Haskan Von Der Hohen Erle was imported from Stuttgart, Germany in November 2000. He obtained the title of SchH III
in Germany and was a hard biting, intense animal, yet was quite approachable and loved the attention given to him by
friends of the family. He was the sire of the first two litters produced at our home. "Pit" passed away at 10 years of age, in
Aug 2007.

Venja Von Der Hohen Eiche was imported from Stuttgart, in December 2002, at the age of three. She was
a SchH I and later was awarded her Lebenseit Kkl 1, on a return trip to Germany. The first five
litters under Von Haus Henry were all the progeny of "Maxi". Maxi returned to Germany 5 times
for breedings over the years(the C, D and E litters were resuts from those breeding attempts), while with us. Maxi
passed away on 26 April 2008, unexpectedly from acute bloat.
